Driving tuition... What can you expect?
At DriveOcity, we deliver Client Centred Learning. That means it's about you. Client Centred Learning focuses on tuition by coaching and is very interactive. We think you will enjoy it.
On your first lesson we'll check your documents and your eyesight, then we'll learn a little about each other to get an idea how you approach learning. We'll then learn about the car and operate the controls. Would you believe that 99% of our pupils drive a car for the first time on their first lesson? You're not alone.
We'll asses your ability and experience when we first meet and find out where you're comfortable and where you need some support. We'll explain how we go about things and set out a clear expectation for you and the road ahead towards your test.
If you're happy and comfortable with this we'll work out a personal lesson plan that suits you and work towards providing you with the skills and techniques that will lead you to a successful test and Safe Driving for Life.
If you've driven before we'll do the checks and have a short question and answer session to establish where you are in the DVSA syllabus.
As we progress the through the driving course we'll tailor the syllabus to meet your needs and learning style. We will also look at the requirements and the format of the Driving Test will be explained and we'll work towards the day you're ready for your own test.
